This wonderful approach to the craft of acting is designed for actors who have had previous training and are interested in taking their work to a whole new level. This technique teaches you to work from moment to moment so that you are constantly present in your work. It involves doing a thorough analysis on scenes so as to be true to the playwrights intent and works intensively with movement and getting the actors fully into their bodies. You need to bring a selection of scenes that you wish to work on from the beginning but have not learnt.

Practical Aesthetics Level 2

This wonderful approach to the craft of acting is designed for actors who have had previous training in Practical Aesthetics and are interested in taking their work to a whole new level. This technique teaches you to work from moment to moment so that you are constantly present in your work.

This course will focus and building on the foundations that you have worked on in previous courses and will also focus on how to apply the technique to Monologues. It involves doing a thorough analysis on scenes so as to be true to the playwright's intent and works intensively with movement and getting the actors fully into their bodies.

You need to bring a selection of scenes that you wish to work on from the beginning but have not learnt.

Course Director:
Kim Krejus is an AFI nominee and an extremely experienced and committed acting teacher who brings a wealth of knowledge with her from having studied at the world's best acting schools. She has studied at NIDA, the Drama Centre in London, at the HB studios in New York with Uta Hagan and with Phillipe Gaulier in Paris as well as the prestigious Atlantic Theatre Company Acting School in NY.
Whilst living in the US she toured the country in the Broadway production "Noises Of" and since returning to Australia has worked on many Australian productions including CBS telemovie "The Flood" for Warner Bros and has been employed as an acting coach on feature film "Aquamarine" for Fox Studios. She has taught at NIDA, VCA, Central Queensland Uni and the National Theatre and is qualified to teach Practical Aesthetics technique in Victoria.
In 2009 Kim returned from Los Angeles where she trained under master acting coach Ivana Chubbuck who has trained proffessional actors such as Halle Berry, Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron (to name a few), Kim has been endorsed to train the Ivana Chubbuck technique in Australia.
