Presenter Course
This
course is designed to give a mix of the skills and confidence
required to be an on-camera presenter. The course focuses on
developing your own personal presenting style. Attention will
be given to vocal delivery, camera to eye contact and physical
performance. You will walk away with pieces professionally shot
pieces on mini DV that you can potentially edit to use as a showreel.
You will also work with an autocue as well as presenting live
to camera. This course will cover more advanced aspects of television
presenting including:
- Live crosses
- Interviews
- Vox pops
- Ad libbing
The prerequisite for this course is the brave studios television
presenter course or relevant industry experience.

Course Director:Karalee
Tilvern
has been a journalist for more than 12 years reporting on television,
radio, newspapers and magazines. She has worked throughout Australia
in capital city and regional media- presenting and reporting
for Channel 7, Channel 9, SBS TV World News Australia, Sky
TV Australia, WIN TV, Austereo radio network, 2UE Sky Radio,
Australian Radio Network (ARN:Gold FM and Mix FM Melbourne).
She also has extensive experience as a presenter for Corporate
Videos and played the newsreader in the police thriller Noise,
named the best Australian film of 2007 by the Australian Film
Critics Association. As well as being an accomplished journalist,
Karalee holds a Post Graduate Diploma of Education.
Karalee remains in high demand as a media trainer and reporter
for Australia's media outlets.

has been working in the Film and Television industry both as
an actor and Videographer for over 15 years. His company medit8
video, specialises in showreels for Presenters, Models and Actors,
and is one of the most respected showreel production houses in
the business, bringing Matt's own unique style to any shoot
he works on
