Maria Efthymiopoulos is one of the owners and Casting Directors at 2 Divas Casting and has worked as a casting director for over 15 years, having also founded Chameleon Casting.
She has auditioned and worked with 1000s of actors many of who have gone on to have successful careers including names such as Holly Valance, Rove McManus, Brooke Satchwell and many more.

Nadia Townsend has been working as an actress in Australian film television and theatre for the past 15 years.  Her most recent television role being, detective Allie Kingston on City Homicide.  Nadia's other television credits include, Fireflies, Headland, Headstart, SeaPatrol, Chandon Pictures.  Her film roles include, Knowing, Zombie Monologues, Puppy and Danny Deckchair.  Nadia began her career by studying at Atlantic Theatre Company in New York, she came home to set up her own theatre company and produced, acted and directed a decade worth of plays.  Nadia then went on to study voice with the Roy Hart school in France and continues her studies to this day with the worlds best practitioners, such as Larry Moss, Ivana Chubbuck and Kim Krejus.  Nadia is highly dedicated to the craft of acting and passionate about communicating her understanding of it through teaching.

James Freemantle is founder of Redgum Communications and has had over 20 years’ experience on the frontlines of TV presentation. He is a skilled and effective teacher who has helped everyone from corporate CEOs to AFL stars become clear, confident communicators. James helps people to: conquer fears; learn key communication skills; and be more inspiring every day. Based in Moscow during 2007/08 James was an international anchor for TV News channel Russia Today, broadcasting globally on cable. He has written, produced and presented over 300 stories for Australian television – including Coxy's Big Break,Postcards, Talk to the Animals and Bread.
James produces and presents stories for Meat and Livestock Australia’s quarterly Feedback TV program and Grains Research and Development Corporation’s Groundcover TV and was recently a guest lecturer in Media at Marcus Oldham College.
James is degree qualified in English, History and Education, and DiSC accredited

Mark Hennessy has worked extensively in film, TV and theatre as an actor and physical performer for many years. His work in Film and Television began when he starred in the children’s television series, The Henderson Kids and subsequently, City Homicide, Blue Heelers, Phoenix – ABC (AFI Winner), Police Rescue, Dead Calm, Metal Skin and The Big Steal. His theatre performances have included The Melbourne Festival Training Squad – (MIFA ’96), Cyrano De Bergerac for SYDNEY THEATRE CO. at the Wharf and Macbeth for THE OLD VAN at Theatreworks. Mark lectured at the Victorian College of the Arts in Drama and Movement, directed The Fabulous Fops for Melbourne Festival and was assistant director to Rob Meldrum for the University of Ballarat 3rd year production of Julius Caesar. He has written numerous short films and performance pieces and in 2002 he received a grant from the Australian Film Commission, under the New Screenwriters Scheme,for his 50-minute mini-feature The Field of Honour. His film ‘The Tip’, was short-listed for Production Funding by the AFC and most recently, his short film – PRESS – was selected for screening at this year’s St. Kilda Film Festival and is ‘in consideration’ for the Los Angeles Film Festival. Additionally, Mark has also worked as a stunt performer/choreographer for over twenty-five years on such productions as Stealth, Anaconda’s, Darkness Falls, Superman Returns and The Fast Lane. Mark is currently editing his new film which is due to be released in 2012.




Ged Cogley
is a professional comedian and actor with over 15 years experience within the entertainment industry. He has worked for all the major television networks and was one of the creators and performers of the ABC T.V. sketch comedy series "FLIPSIDE". He performs regularly around town at various comedy and corporate events as both a stand-up and M.C. He appears regularly on Channel 31's "CHAMPAGNE COMEDY" and "THE COMICBOX" and worked in radio for over 10 years presenting comedy material and interviewing comedians, both local and international. Ged also works as an actor, appearing in numerous film and television projects and commercials. He currently runs "LAUGH UPSTAIRS", the weekly comedy room at the Exford hotel in Melbourne.


Lou Mitchell has worked in casting for 22 years, starting at Crawfords under the training of Graeme Moore and Jane Pontifex. She then commenced work for Maura Fay twenty years ago where she has worked on all aspect of shows, casting extras bit parts leads, dailies and semi regular roles. Her credits include: The Man From Snowy River series 1 - 4, Law of The Land series 1 - 2, Ponderosa (US Television series), Saddle Club series 1 - 3, Gueneviere Jones, Little Oberon, The Coast, That Eye...The Sky, Prey, Mission Impossible TV series US television, Snake Tales and Kick. She has also cast for several US pilots ABC, NBC. Lou recently worked on series 3 of City Homicide, Neighbours and Conspiracy 360. She is currently working on an Australian TV project which we cannot yet name.

Jan Russ is an actor by trade, Jan Russ spent 25 years as Casting Director for Grundy Television/Fremantle media and worked on Neighbours from the very first initial stages, auditioning and casting actors such as Guy Pearce, Russell Crowe, Kylie Minogue, Delta Goodrem. She also cast for the hit television series Prisoner.
Since leaving Neighbours Jan has returned to the stage and screen appearing at the Melbourne Comedy Festival of 2009, as well as a lead guest role on City Homicide, she also collaborated with playwright Robyn Bishop on a play on her own life and had it performed at La Mama Courthouse in July 2009.
Jan has been involved in teaching at many workshops throughout Australia and the UK to rave reviews from her students.
She is currently in discussions with producers for upcoming casting opportunities.


Don Bridges has an acting career spanning nearly forty years with many varied roles in film, television and theatres in Australia, USA and the UK. His film credits include: Troll bridge, The Ballad of Des and Mo, The Tender Hook, Charlotes Web, The Oyster Farmer, Gettin' Square, The Hard Word, Sensitive New Age Killer, Road the Nhill, Romper Stomper, Evil Angels, Malcom and Am. Television credits include Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries, Tangle, McLeod's Daughters, Blue Heelers, Flying Doctors, Fast Lane, All the Rivers Run, Carson's Law, Prisoner, Neighbours, The Sullivans, My Brother Tom, Stark, Bligh, The Man from Snowy River, Raw FM, State Coroner and many others. Done theatre credits include children's theatre, musicals and various roles in productions for companies such as MTC, HIT productions, Playbox, La Mama ... the list goes on. Don has also maintained a successful voice-over career and taught at various arts institutions such as the Victorian Arts Centre, Melbourne University, Victoria University, The Arts Academy Ballarat and The National Theatre.
